Chants Would Be a Fine Thing is the solo debut album by British singer and songwriter Geoff Mann (April 11, 1956 – February 5, 1993), formerly of the British progressive rock band Twelfth Night, self-released on cassette-only in March 1984. The album was recorded by Frank Walsh at Twilight Sound Studios in Salford, England; 28-31 January 1984; with Geoff Mann and Walsh producing. All songs written and arranged by Geoff Mann.
