The Friends Medley is a Maxi-Single / 3-song 12-inch vinyl-EP featuring a medley of songs by the American singers/songwriters Michael W. Smith and Kathy Troccoli, released on Reunion Records in 1985, distributed by Word. The B-side features one track each from both artists’ recent full-length albums. Michael W. Smith is represented by “A Way”, a song originally featured on his 1984-album Michael W. Smith 2 (recorded by Jack Joseph Puig with Michael W. Smith producing), while Kathy Troccoli is represented by “Long Distance Letter”, a song originally featured on her 1984-album Heart & Soul (recorded by Jack Joseph Puig with Brown Bannister producing).
