Description

Limited Edition is the sophomore full-length studio album by the American soft rock band Mustard Seed Faith, independently released on their own custom label Road Records in 1980. The album was recorded and mixed by Dan Willard at Whitefield Studios in Santa Ana, California; with band member Oden Fong producing.

After recording our first album, Sail On Sailor, we continued to tour extensively mostly by van and trailer for several years. Our goal was to reach as many people with the gospel of Jesus Christ as possible. So we criss crossed the United States, crossed the border into Canada, flew to the UK and did the same thing there. We were playing about 350 concerts a year sometimes in three different locations in one day.

Talk about burn out. And, we were moving in different directions musically within the band. So we did what needed to be done. We stopped and broke up. Lewis McVay and I (Oden Fong) went on to do solo recordings, Pedro Buford went on staff at Fairview State Hospital working with the handicap and became worship leader at Calvary Chapel of Cypress with Jack Stevens. Darrel Cook became one of the busiest bass players locally and also toured with Johnny Rivers. Steve Berchtold went into air conditioning and moved to the state of Florida.

We wanted to do one more album together and Limited Edition was the result. Lewis wrote and performs the songs, «Miracle», «Whatever Happened», «Lost Inside Your Love», and «Fault Line». We gathered together some of our favorite musicians to play with us. [Oden Fong, 2016]
