Description
Campus Life presents: Sounds of the ‘Now’ Generation! is a multi-artist compilation released on Word Records in 1967.
Not many years ago lecturers and magazine writers complained that the young people of those days were lethargic, apathetic. They just didn’t care! But today, we of the ‘Now’ Generation have come alive with a veritable “youthquake”! We care about causes. We play, sing, write, work, listen and march with enthusiasm and vigor.
And we demand that our music be the same! We want it alive – music that gets through. No longer are we content with a music diet that is frothy or meaningless.
The staff of Campus Life has teamed up with Kurt Kaiser to select the very finest in teen music for this album. Each musician has contributed one of his finest selections – especially for the ‘Now’ Generation. Give it a listen … we’re sure you’ll agree!
