Description

Bedre enn stillhet is the fifth studio album by the Norwegian singer and songwriter Sigvart Dagsland, released on the Norwegian independent label Kirkelig Kulturverksted in 1992. The album was recorded by Truls Birkeland assisted by Bjørn Eie at West Audio Studio in Stavanger, Norway; with label head Erik Hillestad producing. Mixed by Jan Erik Kongshaug, assisted by Erik Avnskog and Rune Lindquist, at Rainbow Studio in Oslo, Norway. All music written by Sigvart Dagsland with lyrics written by Erik Hillestad, except tracks 6 and 10 featuring lyrics by Gunnar Roalkvam, and track 7 featuring lyrics co-written by Hillestad and Dagsland.

Sigvart Dagsland is backed by a session band consisting of Iver Kleive on keyboards, Eivind Aarset on guitars, Arild Andersen on acoustic bass, and Paolo Vinaccia on drums and percussion, with Katarina Millton-Almgren of Salt and Less Is More fame providing backing vocals.
