Description

Premier Performance is a multi-artist sampler album featuring two tracks each by five new recording artists, released on Myrrh Records in 1981, a division of Word. The “Premiere Performance” project by Myrrh came with an invitation for buyers to vote for their favorite who would then be offered a full contract with the label. Kenny Marks was the fans choice, and he got to record the album Follow Him, released on Myrrh Records the following year. Both of Marks’ songs from the “Premiere Performance” project were included on his debut album.
