Description
Jugular is the debut album by the American folk-rock/alt-country combo Vigilantes of Love frontet by singer-songwriter Bill Mallonee, independently released on CD in 1990. (Re-issued by Fingerprint Records in 1993 with bonus tracks.) All songs written by Bill Mallonee.
One of the real beauties of ‘Jugular’ is its pure simplicity. Guitar, limited drum, harmonica and accordion pretty much consume the entire project. The real victim of Bill Mallonee’s venom is the American culture and buying, selling and pimping…quality content is the victim of commercialism’s dominance. Recorded feverishly over a three day period. Produced by Vigilantes of Love. All songs written by Bill Mallonee.
