Sweet Harmony

Description

Sweet Harmony is the album debut by the American husband-and-wife country-pop duo Harry Browning & Laury Boone, released on Lamb & Lion Records in 1982, distributed by The Benson Company. The album was recorded by Jonathan David Brown assisted by Michael C. Ross and Wally Grant at Weddington Studios in North Hollywood, California; with Brown producing in association with Pacific Entertainment Group. Musical charts prepared by Smitty Price. Tracks A1 and A5 arranged by James Hollihan with vocal arrangements by Russ Taff. All songs written by Harry Browning except track B2 written by Roby Duke and track B3 written by Kelly Willard.

Featuring Harry & Laury on lead and background vocals, backed by George Smith “Smitty” Price on keyboards, Frank Morocco on accordian, Steve Swinford on acoustic guitar, Hadley Hockensmith on electric guitar, Al Perkins on dobro, electric guitars, as well as pedal and lap steel, Bernie Leadon on banjo, David Mansfield of Alpha Band fame on fiddle and mandolin (as well as dobro on track A5), John Patitucci on acoustic and electric bass, and Keith Edwards on drums. Background vocals provided by Rhenda Ewards Tull, Tommy Funderburk, and Roby Duke.
